I enjoyed spending time with people from all different cultures and places around the world at Shinjuku bars and izakaya.

I enjoyed the tour very much. I feel fortunate that I was able to be a part of it. My favorite aspect of the experience was spending time with people from all different cultures and places around the world. Another thing that I enjoyed was the ability to access bars and restaurants that I would be intimidated to enter if I were by myself. Thank you again for the opportunity! See moreSee less

    Fantastic experience and highly recommend!

Moena & Sayaka were perfect hosts. They were easy to talk to and were wonderful company despite our age differences. Although I have been to Tokyo many times, I have never been to the bars in Shinjuku. This was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend this tour to all tourists who wish to see where the local Japanese populace go to relax with food and drink. See moreSee less

The opportunity to see an interesting part of Japanese culture!

Do you know how to travel in time? Now I know how to do that and it's not impossible like you may think. Today in the center of modern Tokyo I found a small piece of history name Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane). I got a unique chance to see post-war period Japan. The majority of the restaurants and shops are built tightly, right next to each other. You will find small izakayas with tasty food at reasonable prices. Today was really interesting evening, people from all over the world (England, Australia, The USA, Germany, Russia and of course Japan) gathered together to try Japanese food and talk about life and culture of Japan. It was really great experience, which I will never forget! Thank you to our nice host! Thank you for the opportunity to see an interesting part of Japanese culture! See moreSee less

    Takoyaki adventure

Had a great experience walking through the small alleys in Shinjuku with our guide, Moena. She took us to a Japanese izakaya where we were the only foreigners. We tried our hands at cooking takoyaki. Highly recommended if you want to try something a bit different. See moreSee less

    Izakaya in Shinjuku experience

It was awesome to experience izakaya in Shinjuku with our host Moena. Foods and drinks are good and the ambiance of the place is really good. I highly recommend this tour to the first timer visitors in Japan. A special thanks to our host Moena for waiting a little bit due to heavy rain. See moreSee less

    Wanna feel yourself Japanese?^^

"Thank you very much for the chance to experience Shinjuku night life. It was good to had a stop at Omoide Yokocho, a small part of old Japan in busy modern Shinjuku area, and big Izakaya. I had a chance to meet new people and share with them a part of Japanese culture named drink session after work. It was very interesting to compare how Japanese small 2 floor-bars with small number of dishes evaluated to big Izakayas, with everything you want. We tried different food, Japanese one and international. Good experience to get closer to Japanese culture. Thank you very much." See moreSee less

    Takoyaki adventure

"Went to a place where we could make our own takoyaki, and it was super delicious! The place, foods and drinks were all good. Being able to make the takoyaki myself made it even more fun! And our guide, Moena, was really nice! I had a great time! I really recommend!" See moreSee less

    Takoyaki adventure

A nice izakaya tour in busy shinjuku with the friendly Moena, who spoke perfect english, but we were also able to have some small conversations in japanese. She took care of explaining all the food on the menu and giving us the opportunity to make takoyaki ourselves, which was an amazing experience. A lovely evening with lovely people!☺️ See moreSee less
