The tour was a very good experience over all. I learned a lot about organic farming in japan and the bbq we did was delicious. The two hosts were very friendly and there was not much of a language barrier due to the good translator.

For my first tourist trip in japan it was a pleasure to make such great connection with locals via this TABICA tour. The farmers take pleasure to make us discover their vegetables and traditionnal dishes. The place was beautifull and calm. A perfect place to rest from Tokyo overcrowdness.

after participate to "hinking tour -visiting Tokyo countryside", i was really happy to try a different tour. It was really motivating to join famers and pick / prepare everything for the lunch. We feel like really invested, and i think its really important. How times flies when you have fun! Thanks to the farmers for their kindness and to the staff for investment and good translation! It was a pleasure, again.

We had an amazing time learning about the organic farm and how the hosts started the farm. The hospitality was great and the food was absolutely the best! It was extremely fun dining in the farm, admiring the amazing view and soaking in the nature.

I think that this tour was good but not completly consistent with the title. The title focuses on making flute, but tecnically, it was only one fifth of the experience. Everything was very interesting, the place/view was extremely pleasant and relaxing, the food was delicious, and we had a lot of time to talk with the host. But I think we could feel a little more immersed (dipped?) into their life by adding more conditionning before the tour, get dressed like farmers, and give more informations about this garden, the vegetables, the bamboo, etc.

Easily one of the best thing I've done in Japan, just do it, everything was an absolute pleasure. The food, oh my lordy, don't even get me started: delicious and vegan friendly! In Japan, it's really easy to shuttle from city to city, maybe you'll do a day trip here and there, but it all beaten path Japan. This tour is just a easy way to do something contrary to all that, and take pause from the mad rush of trying to see everything. Between the country air, freshly handpicked crops, and roasted marshmallows. My favorite part of this experience is the bbq meal with the cutest pair of life and some great new mates. Its shocking how amazing an organic grassroots garden can taste: worth admission alone. Roland, your guide, was great. Ultra friendly and an excellent cultural bridge to what's in front of you. All in all, I'd would recommend to an acquaintance. To a Friend, I'm forcing you, you'll thank me later.

As mentioned before, this is by far one of the most intimate tours I have experienced. The close proximity between the guide and guests offers a unique, friendly atmosphere, as if going for a day out with friends. I thoroughly enjoyed challenging myself to become the bridge of conversation between participants and host providing both ends a cultural exchange that seems exclusive to this tour. This is a wonderful idea getting tourists to enjoy and indulge in Japanese culture.
