Hosho Noh Theatre

TOKYO   Within the Five schools of Nogaku theatre, the Houshuryu style is the successor of the original style and is known for its employment of starring roles amongst various other roles. By maintaining the traditional art, Houshuryu employs the fundamental spirit of succession and works as the central organization of the school, promoting the Nogaku and contributing to Japanese culture. By organizing diverse performances, Houshuryu seeks to attract both hardcore fans and newcomers alike to the joys of Noh, while promoting international exchange by spreading Nogaku to people outside of Japan as well.
