Chiyoko SOGA

Hello, my name is Chieko Soga. I love to go for drives in my free time, I love my work, but most of all I love my town, and I want to share with visitors what my town is all about; that’s why I started this workshops. I have been working with bamboo and bamboo groves for 10 years now. About 2 years ago I started serving “Nagashi Soumen”, which, if you’ve never tried, is a unique and interesting experience: noodles flow down a bamboo half tube, and you pluck them out with chopsticks. In this workshop, I want visitors to enjoy the beautiful environment and refreshing atmosphere of a bamboo grove.
