WHAT TO EXPECT
On this walking experience you will get the opportunity to see some stunning scenery of rural Japan and harken back to days gone by.
For 300 years, from the time of the Kamakura period until the Sengoku period, Hinenosho Village, Ogi was a manor house of the Kujyo-ke family. Nestled away in the Izumi mountain range, this area is located in a mountain basin known for its lush and beautiful nature. The scenery is so breathtaking, that in 2013, it was given the honor by the Japanese government as an agricultural village with "Scenery of great cultural importance" and besides stained glass studio.
Within the Hine Manor ruins there are 7 certified heritage sites. Hine Manor is first of only two locations in Japan that have been given this type of certification. Furthermore, there are multiple other places in this area certified for their cultural importance. Don't miss out on this beautiful walk and cultural immersion experience.
